Tuesday Day Camp

A weekly program on Tuesdays from 9 to 5. See Calendar page for complete date listing. Children will learn body parts, riding skills, games on horseback and participate in crafts and learning activities with their group. Children will ride twice a day. Everyone should bring thier own snack and lunch each Tuesday. Cost is $40 per week, $80 the first week and $40 weekly with the last week prepaid. The last day will end with a Summer Horse Show with all riders recieving ribbons and awards.

This one day program is designed for younger children ages 3 to 8. Allowances might be made on an individual basis for older and younger children, just ask Deb. The Day at the Ranch includes brushing horses, learning the names of each horse, helping to feed them and riding time. Each rider will have a personal attendant to assist them at every step of the way.

$50 per rider for the day

Summer Day Camp

A Monday through Friday progam running 8am to 4pm. Check Calendar
for schedule of weeks available. Each day will be filled with horses and related activities. Crafts, fun, trail riding and drill team practice. Friday will finish with a 5:30 pm program for friends, family and others to enjoy. The Campers will ride to music to demonstrate their group riding skills and then participate in a Game Horse Show. A barbecue will take place during the Show for all to enjoy. Each camper will recieve four free tickets to the barbecue, extra friends and family can participate at a fee of only $5 per person, free for children under age 10.

Day Camp fee is $400 per rider. 1/2 of fee is required as a non-refundable deposit when signing up for camp with remaining balance due on first day of camp. Each camp is limited to 6 riders to ensure they recieve personal attention at all times.

Overnight Camp

The Ultimate Horse Camp Experience running Sunday through Friday. Not only do the campers ride at least twice a day, they participate in all areas of KD Stable. As guests of the stable the riders live in the 2500+ square foot log home with Deb. They are assigned a personal horse for the week which they will ride, care for, groom, bathe, feed and exercise. They will learn riding skills for english and western disciplines. Trail rides will be taken daily, starting with short and safe ones and increasing in duration to build up to a three hour ride with a picnic lunch.

A Friday Night Program to close out the week will include a Barbecue for all attending. Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Salads Deserts, etc. will be served. Camp Guests are encouraged to call ahead with the number of family members attending the closing Show. The first four members and anyone under 10 eat for free, a modest charge of $5 per person is charged for all others. The Campers will participate in Game Events and recieve ribbons.

Fee is $800 per rider. 1/2 fee as non-refundable deposit is due when signing up for camp. Remaining balance due on first day of camp. Each camp is limited to 6 riders to ensure personal attention.
