for the most part. Sunday was a little wet at first.
How long was the ride?
The rides lastest about 45 minutes. The trails didn't lend themselves to cantering due to the wet conditions, but otherwise footing was great.
What ages rode?
10 and up
Everyone attending had a great time. Surveys were filled out and everything came through with a satisfactory rating. The food was overwhelmingly great. Hot, not too spicey and just down home goodness. The hot mulled cider went over well, along with the coffee.
Every rider plans on coming back again, which speaks well for the fun they had!!
New to the barn, Steven visits with Smokey after their ride. Smokey was his usualy unpredictable self and gave Steven quite a nice ride. Though not always at the speed Steven would have prefered!
On the trail, Deloris and Twist in the lead. Twist was a great girl for all the new riders. She was patient and kind with them and treated all to her lovely smooth gaits.
You might wonder where Deb is in all these photos? And Rattle? Well, who do you think is taking the photos? Now If I can only teach Rattle to hold still!
